How Mapping Grade Imagery and AI are changing Situational Awareness and Assessment

Presented by Robert Carroll and Steve Lombardi

With the recent increase in aerial imagery and cloud services, government organizations can now improve the identification and analysis of the conditions of various infrastructure, environmental, and post-disaster. Through the wide availability geographic and temporal sources of aerial imagery and the simplification of computer vision labeling and related tools, government organizations can quickly review conditions across vast areas without having to manual review data. This presentation will highlight the advances in cloud based imagery-as-a-service and how off-the-shelf AI tools can now enhance the geospatial information within your organization.
