About Salt Lake City

With its compact urban downtown area and convenient public transportation options and wide sidewalks, it's easy to get around and experience the many exciting attractions in Salt Lake City.

The downtown district offers a wide variety of things to do. For the sports fan, take in a Utah Jazz professional basketball game at Vivint Smart Home Arena or cheer on the Utah Grizzlies ice hockey team at The Maverik Center. Experience the beautiful sounds and inspiring performances at the Utah Symphony. The Natural History Museum of Utah highlights Utah's rich and varied history and offers interactive activities and awe-inspiring design. The Clark Planetarium, with free admission, allows you to  discover the wonderful world of science and space. Or spend an evening enjoying the nightlife at a variety of restaurants, bars and breweries. Explore the many things to do in Salt Lake City.

In February and March, skiing and snowboarding adventures await with world-class ski resorts less than a 30-minute freeway drive away. Ski rental equipment rental and various transportation options all within 1-2 blocks, making it easy and pain-free to get to the mountain for a fun day of downhill rides.

A post-meeting ski excursion is being planned! If you are interested and would like more info, drop in here. (Be sure you are logged in so you can access the discussion forums.)
