Call for Nominations for the NSGIC Elections
Nominations are now being accepted for the 2006 NSGIC Elections. The NSGIC Nominations committee is seeking candidates for the post of president-elect and for three seats on the Board of Directors. Serving on the NSGIC Board is among the highest commitments to support the organization's mission and activities by an individual member.
The president-elect position is a three year commitment, while the Board of Director seats are two year commitments. The three seats open for this year’s election are currently held by David Brotzman (VT), Stewart Kirkpatrick (MT), and Nick Tew (AL).
The NSGIC Bylaws require the call of nominations to be announced at least ninety (90) days in advance of the elections, and for nominations to be closed sixty (60) days in advance of the elections.
Nominations for this year’s election must be forwarded to one of the Election Committee Co-Chairs, Joe Sewash (NC) or Joe Holmes (LA), by Friday, August 4, at 5:00 pm, EDT. The ballot box at the NSGIC Annual Conference will be open through afternoon break on Tuesday, October 3.
Please contact Joe Holmes (225.219.3348) or Joe Sewash (919.733.2090) with nominations or questions.
